White Wonder Millet (Setaria italia) is an annual grass native to central US states (such as Kansas, Nebraska, and Colorado) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive crop that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–10 as a warm-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 2–4 feet with an upright tillering growth habit, it features broad, smooth green leaf blades and produces heavy, cylindrical white to cream seed heads. It thrives in well-drained loamy to sandy soils in full sun and is ideal for wildlife seed production, emergency forage, and agricultural cover cropping.
