Quick Chop BMR Sorghum Sudangrass (Sorghum bicolor x S. sudanense) is an annual grass native to southern US states (such as Texas, Kansas, and Missouri) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive hybrid that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–11 as a warm-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 4–7 feet with an upright tillering growth habit, it features highly digestible brown-midrib green foliage and produces open seed panicles. It thrives in warm, fertile soils in full sun and is ideal for rapid-regrowth pasture grazing, haylage, and green chop forage.
