Packer Hgy Forage Sorghum

A CONVENTIONAL HYBRID FORAGE SORGHUM FOR HIGH PRODUCTION SILAGE
Packer HGY Forage Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) is an annual grass native to southern US states (such as Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive high-grain hybrid that can thrive in USDA Zones 4–11 as a warm-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 5–8 feet with an upright sturdy growth habit, it features broad green leaves and produces heavy, grain-filled panicles. It thrives in warm, well-drained dryland or irrigated soils and is ideal for high-energy cattle silage, feedlot forage, and grain harvesting.
