Mimulus guttatus
Seep Monkeyflower (Erythranthe guttata) is a perennial forb native to Western US states (such as Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and Colorado) that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–9. Reaching a mature height of 6–24 inches with a creeping, stoloniferous, upright growth habit, it features rounded, serrated green leaves and produces bright yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers with reddish-brown spotted throats. It thrives in wet soils along seeps, cold springs, stream banks, and wet rocks in full sun to partial shade and is ideal for riparian bank bioengineering, cold-water stream restoration, and bee forage.
