Hybrid Forage Brassica

Brassica spp
Hybrid Forage Brassica (Brassica napus x B. rapa) is an annual forb native to central and southern US states (such as Kansas, Texas, and Georgia) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive agricultural hybrid that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–11 as a cool-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 2–4 feet with an upright clumping growth habit, it features large, succulent green leaves arising from a deep taproot. It thrives in moist, well-drained soils in full sun and is ideal for livestock fall grazing, soil biofumigation, and soil compaction relief.
