Hegari

Sorghum Bicolor
Hegari Forage Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) is an annual grass native to southern US states (such as Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive grain and forage crop that can thrive in USDA Zones 4–11 as a warm-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 4–6 feet with an upright tillering growth habit, it features sweet, leafy green stems and produces compact, white-seeded panicles. It thrives in drought-prone, warm soils and is ideal for silage production, livestock feed, and dryland forage rotation.
