Hay N Graze

Sorghum Bicolor

Hay N Graze Sorghum Sudangrass (Sorghum bicolor x S. sudanense) is an annual grass native to southern US states (such as Texas, Kansas, and Missouri) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive forage hybrid that can thrive in USDA Zones 3–11 as a warm-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 5–8 feet with an upright tillering growth habit, it features abundant dark green foliage and produces terminal seed heads. It thrives in warm, fertile, well-drained soils and is ideal for haylage, rotational pasture grazing, and cover cropping.
