Clustered Tarweed

Hemizonia fasciculata
Clustered Tarweed (Deinandra fasciculata) is an annual forb native to Southwestern US states (such as California) that can thrive in USDA Zones 8–11 as a summer annual. Reaching a mature height of 8–24 inches with a rigid, resinous branching growth habit, it features aromatic, linear green leaves and produces tight clusters of small yellow daisy-like flower heads. It thrives in dry, clay or gravelly soils on sunny mesas and coastal plains and is ideal for late-summer dryland revegetation, soil stabilization, and drought-tolerant pollinator habitat.
