Blue Ribbon 3D Forage Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) is an annual grass native to southern US states (such as Texas, Georgia, and Kansas) and has also been successfully introduced across North America as a non-invasive hybrid that can thrive in USDA Zones 4–11 as a warm-season annual. Reaching a mature height of 6–9 feet with an upright branching growth habit, it features broad green leaf blades and produces large, grain-heavy seed heads. It thrives in warm, fertile soils in full sun and is ideal for commercial silage production, standing winter livestock forage, and crop rotation.
